Part of the Old Village Store’s mission is to help cultivate and strengthen community. We believe this can be achieved by hosting regular events and programs that foster conversation, revelry, dancing, gathering, listening, learning, thinking, and doing.   • Thursday, June 18 - Book Talk with Stephen Orr | 5:30PM
    Join us for a book talk and visual presentation by author Stephen Orr about his recently published book, The Gardener’s Mindset. Stephen is a horticulturist, author, and the former editor-in-chief at Better Homes and Gardens. He was also the editorial director for gardening for Martha Stewart Living.

  • Friday, June 19 - Just Another Guru | 5 - 7PM
    Local live music at The Old Village Store! Come by to see and hear the sultry tunes from Just Another Guru playing roots, rock, groove and covering the hits from Grateful Dead, Tom Petty and other music legends.

  • Tuesday, June 23 - Red’s Pop-Up | 4 - 7PM
    They’re back! Red’s is returning to take over the kitchen at The Old Village Store! Come by to taste some amazing pizza by the slice and Chef Brian’s legendary vodka meatball sub.

  • Wednesday, June 24 - “A Taste of the Wild: The Legacy of Sandy West” with Megan Mayhew Bergman | 5 - 630PM
    “A Taste of the Wild: The Legacy of Sandy West” tells the story of the conservation icon’s love affair with Ossabaw Island and her pioneering interdisciplinary vision for its conservation. Come watch Megan’s latest short film and engage in an open Q&A with the film maker

  • Friday, July 3 - Irish Session w/ Heather Swanson | 4:30 - 6:30PM
    Irish sessions are back! Come by and join in on a lively Irish session led by Heather Swanson starting this Friday and continuing once a month through the summer.Future dates to soon follow!
